The decision to seek medical attention for a fertility problem is a courageous one for many reasons, including facing the possibility that a medical procedure may be suggested by your physician. Medical infertility procedures may be considered especially scary when little is known about the risks, benefits and alternatives.
This website contains information about many of the commonly available infertility procedures such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), surgical pelvic evaluation with advanced operative hysteroscopy and advanced operative laparoscopy, intrauterine insemination (iui), controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (medicated cycles), and ultrasound examinations.
Dr. Daiter emphasizes the benefits of a �traditional approach� to infertility care in his own practice, where a thorough and diligent search for abnormalities is completed and then a treatment plan is developed to correct the problems that have been identified.
Dr. Daiter also uses In Vitro Fertilization or IVF when necessary and he has enjoyed a high success rate with this procedure. The �contemporary approach� to infertility care, where IVF is often suggested as a universal treatment (panacea) is discussed but not encouraged.
